NOT FIT FOR 2006 HONDA CRV. DO NOT BUY. KYB CUSTOMER SERVICE IS A JOKE

I wish I could give this item zero stars. I ordered these for the back of my 2006 Honda CRV. THEY DO NOT FIT! According to the instructions, the bellows will not "slip” over the rack body. Tried dish soap, silicone spray, heated the bottom of the bellows in hot water, and they still don't "slip" over the rack body. The strut body is at least 1/4 inch larger in diameter than the inside diameter of the boot. I emailed KYB customer service and Troy Horns said use some soapy water and the fender…

Perfect fit for my NA miata

If you are familiar with NA Miata (91-97) suspensions, you know that the OEM suspension uses a solid rubber bumper and rubber bellows that are one piece . Rubber bellows always break and the fender becomes hard over time. Miata bumpers have been changed to softer bumpers on later Mazda models and there are a number of aftermarket companies that make these softer bumpers as retrofits for older Miata. This KYB bumper and boot combo is made from material similar to those used on aftermarket or…

May not work for your application regardless of what the KYB website says.

I bought two of these to fit a 2004 Infiniti i35. They came with KYB racks 341341 for the rear of the car cataloged on the KYB website. I installed them and all I hear is the boot rubbing against the top of the rack. I saw another reviewer comment that these boots are not compatible with KYB Excel racks. I agree. The bottom of the boot is so small that it took a lot of effort to fit it over the top butt cap (silver part) and butt tube. KYB requires you to tie the bottom of the boot to the…

Pros

This is the part that is recommended, but it's not a good part to work with.

We purchased these for use with KYB 344611 Excel-G Gas Struts on a 2003 Honda Element. KYB SB108 Strut Covers and KYB 344611 Excel-G Gas Springs are listed as suitable for this vehicle. The KYB bellows decklid did not fit the KYB pillar as the KYB instructions suggested. We were able to compress it according to the instructions but it didn't fit the rack body so it interfered with the movement of the rack shaft. We could turn it upside down to fit the torso, but then it would just fall off and…
