I have two computers - one for work and one for personal use - and I'm really tired of moving the speaker connection back and forth. So I tried a splitter a few months ago and it didn't work. You could hear one computer when the other wasn't connected - and that was the stereo splitter, not the mic/audio version. I bought this product based on the reviews that it would work, but it didn't work. One signal is really good and the other is very, very weak. I had to turn everything 100% to hear it. There are just too many dropouts when both are connected, even if one computer is off and the other is on. It's a well put together piece but when you try to use it with two computers it doesn't work at all and frankly unusable.
