I wear size 5.5 shoes and it's hard to find socks that aren't too big. I would have preferred them to be a snug fit, but they actually fit well enough to be able to hold. These socks have a little stretch and are thinner. I have had trouble with some shoes with the toe box coming loose at the back. But it is not very noticeable and uncomfortable. Since I have to pull my socks up just above the ankle (due to the small foot size), they show a bit when worn with tennis shoes. But that doesn't bother me, so I give the socks 5 stars for the price, the fit and the quality. Even if you like thinner and lighter socks, you might like these.
