Review on TOTO SS204 01 SoftClose Contemporary by Michael Hellewell

This seat was designed for the old Aquia II (and possibly other Toto toilets from earlier). Their shells are 14 inches in diameter and this seat is designed for that width. As I was about to order the Aquia IV - the current model of the same toilet - I just found out that the bowl width of this series is now 15.5 inches. They added another 1.5 inches to the width of the bowl and seat! not as elegant or nicely designed, they are very similar to the standard toilet seats but at a much higher price point, I am very disappointed.
