Allegedly suitable for Shark NV356. Misaligned with the motor gear, about 3/16 inch misaligned. hoping for the best. The strap's outer black plastic retaining ring broke within the first ten minutes of use. I tried to glue it with superglue, next day my wife started again, same thing in about ten minutes. It's obviously not the right dimensions for the NV356. However, the NV356 is no longer manufactured. Our NV356 is seven and a half years old. As much as I wish gadgets and gadgets would last a lifetime like they did in the good old days, in 2018 that's unrealistic. It was an inexpensive attempt to squeeze some life out of an old battleship. That does not work. The new Shark vacuum cleaner is on the way. I think this part is substandard but I can bet replacements for newer machines will be closer to spec so I won't blame the seller too much - just wish it worked.
