I was looking for a nice dual recycling/trash bin and this one had the best reviews and best price for what I was willing to spend (although it’s still pretty pricy). One of the things I was worried about when purchasing was the possibility of denting the bin as I had seen multiple reviews stating that the bins arrived damaged or damaged easily. So far I’ve had no issues with denting the can! It’s pretty durable and already came put together which was nice. The trash can we received was not motion detectable although I thought it was, so that was slightly disappointing. As far as the odor elimination goes I haven’t had any issues with our kitchen smelling like garbage, the filters inside of the lids do have an odd scent to them but it’s not too bothersome. Also I will say it’s not completely smudge proof! We have had a few smudges on the can so far but it’s not as bad as it could be considering how often we use it, but the steps on the bottom kind of eliminate having to touch the can itself which is nice. I also really like that you’re able to take the actual bins out to wash them when necessary. I’ve only had it for about a month now so Ill update if anything changes!
