I installed them on a 1997 Astro/Safari conversion truck. I have the extra "high top" plus a ton of wood paneling in the interior, so the back of the van is a lot heavier than the stock. I bought a used van and the back kept sagging and when I loaded 6 adults and some luggage it was out of control. I installed them myself in an hour on both sides. The ride height has been reset to what I would call the standard Astro/Safari when it was new. The ride and handling is MUCH better and I can ride without falling under load. They added 2000 pounds of extra cargo capacity, I HIGHLY recommend them for towing or a regularly loaded van and ESPECIALLY for van conversions!
