Review on Enhance Your PC Cooling with EZDIY-FAB White Moonlight 120mm RGB Case Fan - 6 Pack, Remote Control, Motherboard Aura SYNC, Speed Control, Addressable Fan Hub by Michael Gilmartin

Revainrating 5 out of 5

This is what you need if you want to bypass your mobo's fan control.

I bought a Rosewill Prism case with standard RGB fans. My motherboard didn't have the same fan header, didn't have 5V RGB, so they buzzed at full speed all the time. They rumbled and even wobbled once, scaring me to death when I put the computer to sleep. I had two choices. Buy another set of RGB fans with a non-RGB 4-pin PWM controller that my MSI Z97 G45 gaming motherboard supports. I decided to put them on and so far I'm happy. I just installed them, so this is by no means a long-term review. There are videos on Youtube about these fans if you need more information. I have to say I'm impressed with the build quality, the remote control, and the aesthetics of the fans. First, the pros, they were easy to install. Especially with the white rubber Noctua fan screws. Nothing out of the ordinary, no supernatural design flaws. They are well made and have a significant amount of rubber on the screw grommets to reduce vibration. You are quiet. I cannot express how happy I am that they are silent. The Roseville fans drove me crazy. The controller controls the fan speed and the lighting. I needed both since I completely bypass my motherboard's fan controller. I also like that the hub can power 10 fans. A few cons and why I gave them 3 runs instead of 5. The hub is very cheap. The fans themselves felt sturdy and seemed like a good investment, but I figured I'd ruined the hub just putting the pins in. It just crackled in my hand as I turned on the fans. It looks way better than the Rosewill fan controller and I like the mounting tape over the screws and standoffs. The two fans have LED lighting. It comes and goes, but it ruins the aesthetic when all my lights are the same color and one spot in the fan is light yellow or purple. The RGB settings and colors do not appear to be standard. Some colors are disabled and there is no static rainbow setting. Fan LEDs have different patterns depending on their orientation. I have one fan for air intake and five for exhaust. They do not fit together. Those that suck air have a wire effect, and those that suck air have a higher outlet ring. I also need to cover the logos as I have them in the other direction due to cable routing. Sounds pretty picky, but it's an aesthetic update. Overall I find them amazing. and I'm glad they were available at all. I mean, that's a pretty sophisticated product offering. All white RGB fans with fan speed controller and lighting. That's a lot and for the price I would definitely buy them again. If in the future they start behaving or doing something crazy I will update my review. ---------- Update in 2 weeks ----- -------- There are no more malicious LEDs. The lights are now all the same color. The lights can be turned off at night when the fans are still running. There are about a million speed control modes. pay attention to the quality of their products. The price is excellent and they are my favorite item in my studio lol. Even if the colors are very different.
