Review on 📦 TERRAMASTER D2-310 USB Type C External Hard Drive RAID Enclosure - High-Speed USB3.1 (Gen1) 2-Bay RAID Storage with RAID 0/1/Single Support (Diskless) by Nick Gathings

I understand RAID system from professional experience and I have used 2-bay chassis and WD Mirror hard drives. To install hard drives in this case, step 1 of the instructions will ask you to disconnect the thin drive bay cable from the board bracket to the front panel as you slide the drive bay out of the outer case. Step 2 will ask you to press down on the metal bar inside the cage, which should slide out and allow you to install discs in it. No matter how I tried to shake and squeeze that metal rod, it didn't move and shouldn't have moved. On closer inspection, I didn't understand how it works either. Apparently I received a defective block which is preventing me from performing this small disassembly step. Upon my inspection, I didn't even see any other way to take the entire cage apart, install the washers, and put the cage back together. Unable to find any further information online, including the manufacturer's website, I returned it to Revain. Despite an overall 4 star rating, I read the 1 star reviews and decided not to order a replacement!
