The pillow arrived well packaged and sealed. I knew I had to unroll it and let it breathe a little before I could use it. Once it sat for a while and grew to the right size, I was excited to try it. Unfortunately, the pillow has a terrible chemical smell. There are also a few small neon yellow spots (like very old foam). With this pillow you can't see the "new foam" inside so I have no idea what's inside. The yellowed color and smell make me think differently. The set comes with a lovely bamboo cover which was soft but overall this pillow is very hard and really only good for reading or watching TV. It's not like other memory foam pillows I've had - this one wasn't luxurious at all.
