My work sent me a new laptop and dock but no new monitors so I still use old flat screens that only have a VGA port. Needing 2 of these and a docking station with only 1 VGA input left me with the frustrating 1 monitor puzzle last week. I almost bought DVI-VGA but luckily came across a review saying it wouldn't work so the only option left was a display port input which I wasn't aware of. I bought it and have my fingers crossed that it works and gives me the performance I get with two monitors. I plugged it straight in and it connected instantly, bringing my second monitor back to life and my sanity back.
