The blade is thin and retracts very quickly which can bend the band if you don't slow it down. Of course, I noticed that immediately, but it is not always possible to brake the blade, so the end of the blade bent in the first few days of use. The barb on the top of the strap is not long enough to catch overhead objects. The big red rubber end didn't help either. The protrusion on the blade is about 8 feet which is unacceptable. Size and weight were good. I will be going back to my FatMax, just wish they came out with a magnetic tip and a hook at the top of the blade.
