Hillary Clinton at roulette.

I'm a plumber/pipe fitter and have had this tape for less than two months and it's terrible. The blade bent on the first day. It's also a very thin tape. The magnet is not strong enough and accidentally dropped it about 6ft and broke. This is literally Hillary Clinton of roulette. At home it would be nice, but as far as use in trade is concerned, it doesn't bother. Johnson should stay on her level and let Stanley take the notes. Very very disappointed.

Matching Tape Measure

I bought this tape measure because of the very strong magnetic end as a previous reviewer said and the flip function. I searched the internet for a photo of the tape and couldn't even find it on Johnson's website. I was hoping that it might have break marks or that the 1/2", 1/4" or 1/8" lines were bolder than the 1/16" lines. This is a very basic and ordinary roulette except for the two features I mentioned first. And for those wondering, it's made in China, which the price would tell.

Not as strong as I was hoping

The blade is thin and retracts very quickly which can bend the band if you don't slow it down. Of course, I noticed that immediately, but it is not always possible to brake the blade, so the end of the blade bent in the first few days of use. The barb on the top of the strap is not long enough to catch overhead objects. The big red rubber end didn't help either. The protrusion on the blade is about 8 feet which is unacceptable. Size and weight were good. I will be going back to my FatMax, just…

  • Linear measurement

  • Doubtful
