Review on 🏠 Sengled Industrial Electrical SmartThings Compatible Assistant: The Ultimate Solution for Home Automation by Edgardo Ennis

I rarely review things but wanted to get my opinion on these lamps after reading some inaccurate reviews. A previous reviewer stated that the Sengled hub and app are "junk" - I had no issues with the hub or the Sengled app. They stated that they cannot recover a forgotten password and that customer service is not up to scratch. My password is saved on my phone but I forgot it when I started using it and was able to reset it easily. The app is easy to use - whether you're setting up a hub, adding new bulbs, renaming them, grouping them, or choosing a temperature or light color, it's all simple and straightforward. I've never had trouble figuring out how to do what I want. Back then it was said that you couldn't connect more than 4 lightbulbs to Alexa, but that's not true either. There are currently 26 lightbulbs installed in the app, all of which work with Alexa. I can control them individually or in groups in the Sengled app, AND I can also control them with my voice via Alexa, with groups configured via the Alexa app. The 26 lamps are a mix of Sengled Element Classic, Color Plus and BR30 recessed lights. I can (and plan to) add up to 38 more bulbs for a total of 64, all of which can be supported by the same hub. I have nothing but good things to say about Sengled products. Since I was first gifted a set of JBL (Sengled Pulse) Bluetooth speaker bulbs over 4 years ago, I've been adding them to my Sengled collection with no problem. The software is easy to use and intuitive, and they're constantly releasing new products that integrate well with their previous hardware. The only thing I would like to improve is that they release an app to control all Sengled products as I can't control my Pulse and Element bulbs with the same app. It doesn't matter, more of a user preference, and not even remotely annoying enough to deduct a star from my rating. Don't be put off by negative reviews of Sengled as a great and cheaper alternative to Philips Hue bulbs/hubs. I will 100% buy these bulbs again and plan to use them in all the lights in my house at some point.
