To save energy, I try to turn off as many electronic devices as possible every night. This smart power cord is great for quickly turning off an entire segment of devices in my living room, and also gives me the ability to keep things like my wireless router and humidifier with non-smart plugs on. It just connects to my Alexa Echo Dot and all I have to do is tell it to turn off and I'm done. If it works in conjunction with my other smart home features, I expect to reduce my electric bill by at least another 5%.
