Review on Enhance Performance with Replacement Impeller for Cascade 1000 Canister Filters by Monica Mortensen

I have an old Cascade canister filter that I wanted to use for extra filtration in a cichlid tank. I knew I had to replace the rubber seal as the filter hadn't been used for about 2 years. But even after replacing the gasket, I heard a terrible rattling noise when starting the filter. Checking the impeller confirmed my fears that it was broken. I've searched the internet for a replacement at specialized pet stores but haven't been able to find anything at a reasonable price. Eventually this one saved my filter and I'm happy with the result.
