I've been wearing this cover on my chair for four days now and it looks good. The quilted bag goes perfectly with my leather La-Z-Boy. I can't say anything about the quality of the stitching and whether it can withstand regular use. To keep the cover from sliding on my skin, I purchased a 2 x 8 foot rubber non-slip mat that I placed between the chair and the chair cover. It doesn't slip at all. The elastic band is fine and the buckle is stainless steel so the buckle won't break. However, the case has two very thin fabric loops on each side that fit into the strap buckles. The metal buckle has a slit in the middle on one side. It's not easy to get a loop on the buckle. You need to thread the entire loop of fabric up or down halfway through the buckle and fully pinch it in half. Then thread the end of the fabric loop up or down to the other half. The loops keep slipping off the buckle. I inserted a cut piece of wooden popsicle into the loop after donning the buckle, hoping the fabric loop wouldn't slip through the slot in the center of the buckle. The fabric loop is not strong and poorly sewn to the cover so it will most likely be removed soon. The cover requires fabric loops along the upper back to hold the strap in place, like belt loops on pants. The top of the case slides out from under the belt so the belt no longer holds it in place. I plan to sew the loops on the back myself to keep the belt from slipping off. And we will sew different loops for fastening to the buckle. These design changes would have made the lid much more stable and comfortable to use.
