Review on Helicoil 5521-4: 1/4-20 Inch Coarse Thread Repair Kit - Fixes Threads with Precision by Manuel Gfx

Purchased to repair the muffler boltholes on my 5.5hp Briggs and Stratton lawnmower engine. This is my first time using a helicoil kit and it was very easy. I've mowed a few times since the patch and it's holding up great. Glad I found this instead of tying up my mower at the store for who knows how much money. Took about 30 minutes to fix 2 bolt holes on the mower, no need to pull the motor, access to the mower deck was a huge time saver. As a second measure, I used Loctite red high temp high strong during installation. It was a great inexpensive complete set. I had to buy a new 17/64 bit to make sure I had a sharp bit to get the job done without drama.
