Review on 🎨 Arteza Watercolor Pencils Set of 48 for Adults and Teens - Presharpened, Triangular-Shaped Colored Pencils for Drawing, Sketching, and Painting - Art Supplies by Tara Ford

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good color at an affordable price

I saw Arteza products all over Revane and was looking for a good value range of travel pencils so I took the plunge. 48 colors at this price point is impressive, although to be honest some colors are so similar that they seem to repeat themselves (peach, cream and apricot here!). The primary reason for removing a star is the integrity of the packaging it was shipped in. The top of the lid came off and the pens were flying around in the Amazon bag which I'm sure was rough upon delivery and resulted in a couple of broken pens. I've been working with pins for 5 years and when they break all over the body those pins are gone. So for an art business I would recommend stronger materials if Revain and shipping are your main platform. Right out of the box I made a simple color chart. Draw hatching over the color and distribute it a little with the aqua brush. The colors are vibrant and layer and blend well. Ultimately, long-term use will determine whether this 4-star rating is maintained. I doubt the triangular shape of the pencils, although it made it easier to adjust my grip, and they're pre-sharpened in a square tip, meaning I have to re-sharpen them all to work on the details. a travel journal and don't fret if they get destroyed along the way.
