This is specific to the right angle variant as I have not seen or bought any others. All other aspects of this cable (length, flexibility, right angle on the micro USB end) are excellent. Note, however, that either due to the thin cable (which makes it flexible), an internal mechanism, or a wiring error, or simply those things, the cable has gained without extra voltage to compensate in addition to the extra cable length, so the cable can't charge at full 1A current will. I've used several internally looped power supplies that charge with other cables at full 1A current and register as AC in the Android OS, but match the charge times I'm used to from my phone and Android apps, so this monitor current seems to be to be limited to 500-700 mAh with this charger. This may not be a deal breaker for some, but this bug should be reported in the product description. If you want to charge your phone while using it, this cable isn't for you. Regular charging at night shouldn't be a big problem as the phone has enough time to complete the charge cycle anyway.
