Cannot charge at full current 1A

This is specific to the right angle variant as I have not seen or bought any others. All other aspects of this cable (length, flexibility, right angle on the micro USB end) are excellent. Note, however, that either due to the thin cable (which makes it flexible), an internal mechanism, or a wiring error, or simply those things, the cable has gained without extra voltage to compensate in addition to the extra cable length, so the cable can't charge at full 1A current will. Good for data transfer, bad for heavy charging

So it's a "good" cable, but not an exceptional cable. If you need a long cable for data transfer, it will do. If you want to use it to charge a powerful device like a tablet or powerful phone, look elsewhere. Speed: I ran a data transfer test between my Note 2 and a computer with an SSD. I was able to get 15.5 MB/s with both this cable and the Samsung 23 AWG 5 inch cable that came with my phone. I read as well as wrote - once to the Class 10 SD card and once to the internal storage.
