Review on Infinity Kappa Perfect 300M Midrange by Steve Wynn

Revainrating 1 out of 5

The wire clamps have a design flaw.

These 3.5 inch speakers sound very good when operating for their size. The problem is that the wire clamps are very bad. Over-tighten the cable clamp screws and the electrical connection will be broken. What I mean is that holding the screwdriver by the shank rather than the handle with your fingertips can easily break the connection. Once disconnected, gently tugging on the wires causes the speaker to play sound. As soon as the cables are disconnected, the sound stops. .This problem occurred with 3 of the 6 speakers I bought. I have already returned two of these for exchange. I don't know what to do with the last one. This could be the reason why Infinity discontinued this speaker model.
