Infinity Kappa Perfect 300M Midrange Review

Dremelted the dash in my '08 Tundra to fit. A 400 watt amplifier (lowered, of course) pushes this and my boxes into the doors. Loud and clear!

I ordered these speakers because I thought they were good value for money. I installed them after the return window and one of them doesn't work. Open circuit due to poor soldering.

Replaced dash speaker on a 2002 Dodge Ram. But it was necessary to add a tweeter, which I bought from the same brand. I wish I had done that sooner.

Great sounding 3.5 inch speakers. I've heard several of these sizes and these sounded the best. Installed in the rear of the Toyota GT-86. The front factory speakers on this car are amazing so the rear just needed something to deal with.

These 3.5" speakers sound very good for their size when they work. The problem is that the wire terminals are very poor. By holding the screwdriver by the shaft rather than the handle you can loosen the connection slightly with your fingertips. After disconnecting, gently tugging on the wires will cause the speaker to play sound. Once the wires are disconnected, the sound stops. I have used these midrange drivers in a range of Rogers home speakers that had a weak midrange tone. These Kappa speakers solved the problem much better than I thought. They are astonishingly clear and very realistic in the transmission of vocals, piano and all other sounds in this range. I would recommend these speakers to anyone looking to enhance the midrange of a high end car or home stereo.

I purchased these speakers from WORLD WIDE STEREO, one of the speakers did not work right away. The seller refused to exchange or refund my money. So I sent the speakers to INFINITY - HARMON (manufacturer), they refused to give me a new pair or even fix my old ones, basically they said there was nothing they could do. At the moment WORLD WIDE STEREO and INFINITY-HARMON will not do anything to replace or repair speakers - I didn't even ask for new ones. My option is to throw them in the trash…

Arrived on time and looked exactly how I wanted it, but after 4 hours of work with a dremel and heat gun these champions were installed in a set of beautiful custom speaker cabinets. May I add 5 star products. One of them didn't work. Revain quickly replaced them with a new set and I'm expecting them in 2 days today. I will say that the one that worked sounded spectacular. These 3.5 inch speakers sound very good when operating for their size. The problem is that the wire clamps are very bad. Over-tighten the cable clamp screws and the electrical connection will be broken. What I mean is that holding the screwdriver by the shank rather than the handle with your fingertips can easily break the connection.
