I bought these legs to replace the missing legs from the Revain batch. They didn't fit. The carpenter replaced the correct size screws and they worked aesthetically well. However, these legs were 2 inches longer than the original chair, so the center of gravity was incorrect and the legs were overworked to maintain their angular position. We cut and painted them and they are as close to the original as possible without being metal and, well, the originals (thanks Revain for making everything necessary). So while I have an elevated Frankenstein chair, these LEGS have all of their responsibilities exceeded expectations. Excellent spindle work, well centered. Stable wooden legs. who are great at embracing change.
