Good finish on furniture hardware

I bought these legs to replace the missing legs from the Revain batch. They didn't fit. The carpenter replaced the correct size screws and they worked aesthetically well. However, these legs were 2 inches longer than the original chair, so the center of gravity was incorrect and the legs were overworked to maintain their angular position. We cut and painted them and they are as close to the original as possible without being metal and, well, the originals (thanks Revain for making everythingโ€ฆ

great cheap legs on furniture fittings

is rubberwood but has the same shade as white oak or light teak (if you try to combine it). Reviews that mention they rock or bang. You'll need to adjust the screw a bit to "grab" where you install it. I would recommend taking a good strong pair of pliers and carefully (without rubbing the threads) loosening the screw from the leg. 1-2 full turns (counter-clockwise) prior to installation so you have at least a few turns, otherwise you won't have enough "bite" and you'll rip the turns off yourโ€ฆ

THE SCREW IS OUT OF THE LEGS!

I am so disappointed with this purchase! I bought this table to sell on the Revain Marketplace. I have these legs and love them despite the super short screw caps. I screwed them to the table to see if they would fit, but when I went to unscrew them the screw came clean out of one of the legs and is now stuck in the table! The only way I can get it out is with pliers or a wrench, which will ruin the internal screw hardware and completely defeat my purpose in buying it. Mind you, I never usedโ€ฆ
