I only needed two lamps instead of other products that come with four. It was the best choice for the price. Installation depends on your car's dashboard and how much you want to cover. The light is fairly even in the center of the optical tube, but slightly brighter at the end of the tube. I had no problems with the remote control. I was able to plug in and change the light when the module was on. **Update 13 February 2021 I recently purchased a second module to cover more space (my car pictured is a 2018 Nissan Rogue). The application connects to multiple modules and changes color at the same time. There are no problems with connecting to a separate module and replacing it.
