low vibration, i can sand for hours without vibration pain. Excellent cutting action with 35-50 grit. Quiet, even earbuds are not needed on low settings. I love this orbit. Quieter than Festool. I bought a vacuum hose from Mcmaster to connect to my Hepa vacuum. Lasting grinding pattern. To protect the main plate I use a protective plate - it's worth it. I no longer use metal shielded discs - the edges will crack and scratch your work, even on name brand discs. Some are shown with frames before use. 2000+ grit can be used with very light pressure and caution around the edges of the wheel. SuperGrit white or gold oxide discs are fantastic quality, especially for the price. They last the longest and cut quickly and cleanly with little debris. Diablo's No Match - Diablo is a junk product that annoys homeowners. Thank goodness real industrial suppliers like SuperGrit are still in the game!
