There is much debate in the audiophile community about how cables contribute to the sound of a system. Some people say that cables are crucial and use creative prose to describe how a particular cable affects sound. Others say as long as the connections, in this case a phono jack, are secure and the wires aren't oxidized, which of course happens over time and doesn't affect new cables, all cables will sound the same; and they cite blind tests where audio consumers and even experts couldn't tell one solid cable from another. I lean towards the latter position and have found these and a few other cables to do the job well; and no, I could not tell the differences between them, if there were any. Maybe my electronics or the acoustics of my room or my ears are causing this result, but for me, like others I've tried, these cables do the job they were designed for, which is to connect a piece of audio equipment together without interference . . any signal loss or extra static electricity.
