Review on Inner Axle Installation Front Differentials by Deron Altman

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Luckily I had a job around

2000 F350 Dana 50 front axle. The rear end of the device was not large enough to cover the nozzle. It would actually be pushed (pinched) into the nozzle if the seal on the opposite end was pushed in. I was lucky enough to have a washing machine that closed the pipe. I attached the back of the press to the puck. The manufacturer must provide a round plate for different nozzle sizes. This may work with smaller axles, but not with Dana 50.

Pros
  • . Helps you install side seals in Dana 30/44/50/60 crankcase tubes. Designed to safely and evenly apply pressure to the inner axle seal to force it into the axle housing without damaging the seal.
Cons
  • Defects present
