I have used Dry Bacteria for water changes. My ammonia level has always been around 1 ppm per 150 gallons no matter what I do. So I decided to switch to this brand of proactive bacteria. Yesterday I changed the water, added 2 bottles of this product. I woke up and checked the water. Nitrite 0, Ammonia 0, Nitrate 0. I didn't have a 0 because I couldn't get the AIR stamp for good bacteria on Revain anymore. I didn't think it would work because of the minor abomination. But it is, and I recommend it, and it will NOT clog your hoses on your canister filter like dry bacteria do.
