I've only been using this product for about a week as part of an active B12/methylation protocol I started. As such, I can't pinpoint the exact effects of this supplement (I add it to my electrolyte drink along with picoionic magnesium, picoionic minerals, ascorbic acid, sea salt, and either cream of tartar or potassium bicarbonate, and a sweetener), but I genuinely believe it gives me more energy to get through the night shifts. It's a very fine powder with a slightly tart taste that I don't notice as it contains 4 grams of vitamin C and lime juice :). I am very happy that it is available as a pure powder so I can create my own dosages as needed. One caveat - and I've noticed others have commented on this - the dosage markings on the packet I received are *far* wrong! My pack says that a 100 gram pack (by weight) should contain 200 doses of 500 mg L-Carnitine, and 1 1/2 teaspoons equals 500 mg L-Carnitine Fumarate. This equals 1 tbsp. for each gram of product, and the volume of the pack is assumed to be 100 st.l. Sorry, but there aren't 6.25 cups of product in that 100 gram pack! I went online to their website and found a much more accurate dosage conversion for this product. I would recommend targeting website conversions: ie 1/2 teaspoon = 1800 mg L-carnitine fumarate.
