This is a decent, if overpriced, storage stool that is both attractive and functional. from a series of similar articles. The price then went up to $100, making it more expensive than most if not all of its competitors. I was able to purchase one from Revain for $58 in 'like new' condition - and I was happy to pair it with my Rivet Hawthorne sofa in the same color/material, but I would never pay $100 for one pay. Two ways to improve this, IMHO: 1) Make the tablet part black (instead of brown). Black would be much more harmonious with the dark gray ("caviar") color of the fabric and the black felt lining. 2) By shrinking it down a bit and putting the cube on slanted legs, it lifts off the floor easily and also blends in better with the mid-century modern designs of other pieces in the Rivet collection.
