Review on ⚙️ Boost Engine Performance with Fel-Pro ES 74034 Cylinder Head Bolt Set by Dave Branch

Wherever I look for a Fel Pro Cylinder Head Bolt Kit, the Fel-Pro Cylinder Head Bolt Kit part number ES 74034 fits a 1987 4.3 "Z" engine. In my experience, the part number does NOT match 4.3 "Z" engines. I converted the engine from a 91 C1500 with the "Z" engine that was installed in my 1987 Astro. I think this is a bad part number from the manufacturer NOT Revain or any other supplier as they all have the same set of head bolts. If you look at my photos you can see the difference between the "medium length" screws. This is for the bottom corners of the head. A total of 4 pieces of this size are needed to make both heads. The Fel Pro Med size screws do not reach the threads in the block at all. But right on the side of the box, the 4.3W motor is clearly written, the first true Vortec with a balancer shaft. See my photos. So be careful when you buy 4.3 "Z". What I've just learned (and on the side of the box) says this kit is for "early Vortec" engines, NOT "Z" engines.
