Review on 🔧 Fluke 179 ESFP True RMS Multimeter: Backlight, Temp, and Accurate Measurements by Darrin Parasson

There is nothing to say about this measuring device. I bought this to replace a 20 year old Fluke 73 that had become so mechanically worn that the rotary switch no longer worked consistently. I like this gauge. It's fast, true RMS, the histogram is very useful for a quick check and has a highlight. The quality is superb again!Only the beef is it's quite chunky and the yellow plastic you see in the picture is part of the body and doesn't come off, so much bulkier than I'd like suggesting it is now there's a good pop - the kickstand on the back is useful and you can mount the sensors in the slots on the back for one-handed use. This is an indispensable device for those who regularly work with a voltage of 220 V or less. Also great for electronics enthusiasts, model train enthusiasts and so on.
