Great as a tool and toy. Useful and fun
We use it all the time as both a tool and a toy. Frying pan: 320. Heater opening: 73 (to allow cold air to come out). I've used it to heat food and deep fry. They took it to an unheated warehouse during a cold snap and "shot" the water pipes. 34; too close for comfort. We have a space heater. Little did I know that I would use it as much as I do now and enjoy it. It's accurate over the full range I can test. (Ice water 32, boiling water 211 - about my size). The shot in the oven matches my other oven thermometer. I like it!
