until I decided on this one. We like to drink big mugs while watching TV. Wanted to replace our regular sized mugs so decided to try them before ordering the larger ones. I've read various reviews of dishwashers - some say they have problems, some say they don't. I put it in the dishwasher one night but didn't dry it in it. I guess I'll have to take a chance someday and see if tumble drying ruins it. There is no way I would put it on the bottom shelf. I haven't had any problems with the edges yet, but I mostly use straws, so it's not a big issue for me. My husband loves the colors and the feel of them. Very easy to hold.
