Review on HHIP 3601 0011 Transfer Screw for Easy Piece Transferring by Mike Walters

AMAZING HOW EASY IT MAKES THINGS

I drilled 8 holes with a drill in 6.3/8" diameter steel plates to cover and protect the cast aluminum body, which had an uneven bolt hole pattern for two pieces of gear. This leaves me with four extra plates, two of which we can add a platform to hold the tool on. Amazing how easy and quick this was without wasting time measuring the screw hole. I simply fitted four hole centering lugs into the four threaded holes in the body. While one person held the panel against their body, I tapped the first panel once over each of the tabs with a hammer to center the holes. I drilled those four holes and put tool hole centering bits in the remaining four holes. I then installed the plate with the four previously drilled holes, pressed and tapped directly over the 4 points with one tap each. Center markings on steel plate. Before drilling I re-centered all the holes. I wanted the glasses to stay in good condition so I could use them on other projects. I didn't notice any damage to the tips or threads in the case, but I didn't hit the record too hard, just enough to leave a tiny mark. I then used the first board as a drill guide and used the transfer punch to drill through the remaining boards. They all fitted great and it took about 4 hours to complete the drilling for this project. sr_1_1_sspa?crid=8WVGCLX8F3NH&keywords=transfer+punch+set&qid=1637882796&sprefix=transfer+punch%2Caps%2C260&sr=8-1-spons&psc=1&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUEzVk9ZNDVZSElUWENZJmVuY3J5cHRlZElkPUExMDAyNTg3MlpaOThVUENRQlBITyZlbmNyeXB0ZWRBZElkPUEwNjM3MjY0MU4wVkNMSVJUNjhUSCZ3aWRnZXROYW1lPXNwX2F0ZiZhY3Rpb249Y2xpY2tSZWRpcmVjdCZkb05vdExvZ0NsaWNrPXRydWU=
