Review on πŸ’» Ultimate Wi-Fi Connectivity with Ubiquiti NanoStation M5: Power-Packed Hotspot Solution by Wiktor Redziski ᠌

Good value for money, I recommend it.

It's a good thing too, because I've been providing remote video monitoring with these dishes for a number of years now. A steady flow of data transmits successfully, and the signals do not become corrupted or overheated even when exposed to extreme temperatures. They are not appropriate for the transfer of a significant amount of data since they require plates to be walled in, but they can maintain their stability up to twenty to thirty megabytes. My longest run was five kilometers. That was as far as I could go. If it is taken in well by the open area, it will be even worse through the trees. If you need absolute security, then using MikroTik antennas is the way to go, but this option is reserved for people who have a particularly high level of technical expertise.

Pros
  • I really like how simple it is to use, and that it includes everything necessary for the installation. Uses their brain. This is everything you need for configuring the connection in minute detail.
Cons
  • Internet Explorer must be installed in order to make use of this website, which is somewhat of a handicap. It is always important to specify the appropriate security settings for remote machines in order for such machines to have access to the plate from where they are located.
