Review on πŸš— Rocketek RT-CC32 - 3-Socket Cigarette Lighter Adapter with Dual USB Car Charger by Gary Knop

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Four star product, five star performance, excellent value for money

Fantastic little device for my needs. I use it as a power source on my bike for my smartphone, GPS, intercom, heated gear, etc. I stow it in my tank bag and plug it into the power port on the front right side of the fairing. The 90 degree cable from the plug is nice because it's flat, doesn't get in the way of the handle's control cables, and the locking device works really well and keeps the plug secure. A special gimmick is the digital meter that displays the battery voltage during operation. , and if not, it converts it to electricity so you know if it's drawing too much current from your battery. Examples: When I charge a Sena SMH-10 Bluetooth Communicator and it shows a current draw of 217mA, I know my battery can last a couple of hours, which is good for lunch but too much for an overnight connection, So I turn around it is turned off. One star for three niggers: 1) The USB ports are on the side, effectively adding two inches to the width if you use both 2) No mounting options, it just flops where you put it 3) The latches on the connector will loosen and fall off, so it needs to be checked and tightened regularly to keep it from falling apart, shorting out at the outlet, and blowing the fuse in your car. However, everything suggests that the convenience of the features is worth it, and it's not enough to dissuade me from buying my fourth! (two for free, one fell apart at the plug and got lost)
