Review on 🚩 Scosche PSM21006 BaseClamp Whip and Flag Base Vehicle Mount by Tyler Markham

I liked the design and was very optimistic that I found a great solution to attach the whips to the cage and hit at the perfect angle. I was wrong. Two main problems with this product. Adjustable clamp system (even sold separately!) The first issue is the thickness of the "teeth" that determine at what angle the whip mount holds the whip. They are actually quite large and result in poor "resolution" of possible angles. I'm stuck with my whip tilted about 13 degrees forward OR about 8 degrees back. I was ready to live with the whip thrown back. Unfortunately, the clip, which you have to buy separately, didn't get a good grip on the roll cage. Due to the construction of the base of the whip attachment, the clamp may not close tightly enough around the crossbar. Even after using all my strength to tighten it, I could still turn the whip with my hand. No way will he be able to hold a flag and a whip. Miserable!
