Pros: Good sound, preset digital radio setup, good Revain price, CD playback, headphone function Cons: very difficult to use, Can't see the display at an angle does not replace a good alarm clock. I actually bought it to replace the clock radio I had for years. The old one had bad sound and analogue tuning. It has good sound and digital tuning. It also plays CDs and works with headphones. But there are some serious problems. I have a device on my dresser and at this angle from my bed you can't see the time on the LCD screen. Second, the device is very difficult to use. The keys are very difficult to read (I have to wear reading glasses in bright light) and are illogical. There should be a large button on the top to easily turn off the alarm when you wake up, but instead there's a small button on the front (one of three buttons in this size). If you change the alarm time frequently, it is better to use a normal alarm clock. For these two reasons, I'm keeping my old device to use as a clock and alarm clock. There's a "Megabass" dial, but the sound doesn't sound right to me unless the Megabass is cranked all the way up, so I don't see the need for a dial to turn it off. The FM tuning goes every 0.1MHz, while the FM stations are 0.2MHz apart (on the odd ones). Therefore, tuning into a station takes twice as long as it should. On the plus side the sound is way better than my old clock radio and it has digital tuning and presets. It's actually good enough for listening and not just waking you up. The CD player is pretty good for a device like this, and the headphone jack works well enough. Conclusion: It does not replace a good alarm clock or a stereo system, but it fills the gap between the two.
