Review on 💨 Soldering Desoldering Extractor: The Ultimate Absorber for Efficient Prevention by Steven Pankey

This thing sucks up solder fumes from 12 inches away! Although it was only for testing. Best results are anywhere from 6 inches and closer. The filter is about 1/4 inch thick (I didn't measure) and it seems to work fine. Not sure if the 1.8" version has a thinner filter or not. I bought the 2" version because of the CFM rating and 32W. The 1.8" version is rated at 30 watts and less cfm. I'm very happy with this purchase. It's not super loud either. The handle also makes it easy to move Has an on/off switch on the cord Also the unit draws in smoke from the side of the fan filter which is better than the smoke going through the engine first and being expelled out of the filter i assume if the smoke doesn't go through it's much better for the engine. Good product.
