I run 20+ miles a week and my Ghost 11's have 500+ miles (each pair) so I thought I'd buy some new shoes similar to the Ghost 11 store and they didn't fit, so i thought i would try the launch 6 as it was recommended as similar to the ghost 11 and advertised as a neutral shoe. It doesn't feel neutral because certain parts of the sole press against your foot as you run. What I learned after running is that the cushion is made with a different technology and the drop is only 10mm vs 12mm. This made a huge difference as I felt pain in my calves while running which made me think I was going to get a shin splint if I kept using them. Also, another sole technique is of great importance since I have been limping for 3 hours because now I have the impression that I have a bone spur. Needless to say I spent over $75 on good shoes that I can't wear. I say "good" because Brooks are usually good shoes, but they don't fit me.
