The rear camera works well. Can't say for sure if the sound quality is any better, but it sounds decent (got into my younger sisters' egg beater). One caveat: I wish there was more documentation on installing a rear camera, but how can you complain about a $60 touchscreen? Especially when it comes to the camera! I was impressed with the speed of the device, it doesn't slow down at all and connects to my phone via Bluetooth almost instantly. If you switch to reverse gear, the screen also changes quite quickly. All in all I'm impressed.
