We added our patio and wanted lights on the trees to protect the patio. It was perfect! Very durable and does not feel brittle. Lamp covers are made of plastic that will not break. They are dimmable, so we bought an outdoor dimmer to go with them. 100% is very bright and illuminates the surroundings very well. The dimmer was a must for those times when you just wanted to sit outside and not be the center of attention. I love her! For reference, the picture shows 2 threads of 100 feet each. The clips are easy to install but we used zip ties around the branches (loosely) and then attached the light to them.
