Big Holes: Building Materials

Gaps too big for 4x4, leave about 1/4 inch gap for 2x4 side. Powder coating is less than I would like. will they work Yes. they could definitely be tougher. I was hoping I'd even have to tap the boards on the mounts for a secure tight fit. This is not the case here
