I use this as the only drive in my Raspberry Pi (no SD card). Plugged the drive into my PC, formatted the drive to FAT32, put the NOOBS files on the drive, plugged the drive into my Pi and booted it up. Multiple operating systems installed on the SSD with no problems. Reloads well. The only complaint I have is that it's difficult (impossible) to remove the USB bridge while the Pi is a case designed for it. So swapping the SSD adapter between PC and Pi is a bit cumbersome, but doesn't need to be done once everything is set up. I'm not sure what the micro USB connector "SSD Power" is for. Never used. Didn't need it. Some SSDs may require additional power.
