The lighting is pretty bright and looks nice. They're small enough not to require major modifications to the boat and the electronics appear to be all cast in resin and the wire is tinned stranded wire. I only see one downside to the setup, but it's easy to work around. The two wires are passed through a piece of heat shrink tubing that does not shrink over the wires. Since each wire didn't have its own shrink tubing, I was glad they didn't shrink it. I smeared the tube with E6000 glue and applied some heat to seal them. hope they hold up!
