Review on 🚿 Grohe 46174000 MetalFlex Hose for Kitchen Faucet, 59-Inch, Chrome by Darian Massey

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Buy this, it's OEM GROHE, easy to install with my guide.

This is an exact GROHE OEM hose for a 2004 Lady Lux Cafe kitchen faucet. My old hose lasted 16 years. Chinese 1/2 prices are questionable and no one needs water damage. I originally had a red quick disconnect with a 2.2 GPM flow restrictor. GROHE currently only uses yellow without restriction. My faucet now has good pressure. Replacing the hose is a bit difficult. Tie a string to the bottom of the hose you are pulling out. Then tie the string you ran through to the end of the new hose that goes into the faucet. Plug in the hose and it will hang. What you need to do is twist the new hose in a constant swirling motion, gently push and pull the rope at the bottom, and it's inserted instantly, in under a minute. Look at the metal hose and follow the fitting towards the ribs of the metal hose. Be sure to use non-hardening silicone (O-ring) on the quick connector, male quick connector and the mating o-ring on this screw. - in the spray head. The non-hardening silicone acts as a lubricant, which allows the quick connector to rotate and keeps the o-rings in good condition. ATTENTION: On the syringe, only clean the screen and the decalcifying part of the syringe. Submerging the head in descaler will destroy the green inner green o-ring on the spray head valve. If your faucet head which is attached to the sink is loose. Simply wiggle the chrome hose tube, pull and remove. Then simply take the crescent wrench and tighten the brass nut as shown. Remember, just tight enough that the valve is no longer hanging around. I have attached a photo of the non-curing silicone that I purchased from Revain. The pipe can now rotate freely. So lubricate all O-rings. (See pictures) Look on YouTube because Grohe has some videos. An old plumber's trick: put a paper towel under the hose and quickly connect it to make sure it doesn't leak. Check the towel for a few days and if it stays dry then everything is fine. Conclusion: Anyone can do it.
