Review on 💻 Newest HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop PC, AMD 6-Core Ryzen 5 3500 Processor (Outperforming i5-9400, Up to 4.1GHz), GeForce GTX 1650 Super 4 GB, 8GB RAM, 256GB PCIe NVMe SSD, Mouse and Keyboard, Windows 10 Home by Michael Schafer

PC purchased is HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop with GTX 1650 Super, 256GB SSD, Ryzen 5 $3,500,850. I gave this PC 5 stars because it works great with my Oculus Quest 2 for both wired and Air Link. When I searched for a review that mentioned Oculus, I couldn't find any, so I felt it was important to give my opinion on it for now. The cheapest PC I could find at $850 for a new or used VR ready PC. Add to that the free 30-day returns and it was an easy choice. Games I've played on VR, Assetto Corsa, Project Cars 2, Project Cars (both Project Cars vehicles had to be changed to Windows 7 format to work) Batman VR, Gorilla Tag (Free and my kids love this one game! you sweat a lot) . Main reason for the purchase is Assetto Corsa and a racing simulator. This PC works very well with Oculus Quest 2, Logitech G29 with G-Switch. Assetto Corsa works great but stutters from time to time. I bought 8GB of RAM here at Revain for $43, so I'm hoping that upgrading to 16GB of RAM will fix this small issue. so with Assetto Corsa I kept my cable. When my kids play Gorilla Tag it seems pretty reliable. Batnman VR worked fine but only tried it once. I might go back to Assetto Corsa with Air Link and see if it's still unreliable. Not sure if it's a 5 star PC unless you need it for VR. I bought an Acer Nitro 5 for $450 off ebay and it ran games very well without VR. Nitro 5 just couldn't run VR so I had to switch. If I didn't like VR I'd keep the Nitro 5 for almost half the price. The memory is very small - 250 GB. I'm using an external 2TB hard drive that I connect via USB. I can store all my Steam games on it and run it flawlessly for both monitor and VR. At first I thought I might need to upgrade the internal hard drive, but the external hard drive has been amazing so far. - No problem with dual monitor setup. I connected one via HDMI and the other via Displayport. After 2 weeks it was an amazing PC. Does everything I want very well and I love the fact that I can upgrade things as needed. This was the best price I could find in June 2021, new or used on the Revain, ebay, CG, FB market!
